The latest Rum Club event brought together enthusiasts and novices alike for an evening dedicated to the exploration of Cockspur Rum. The night was filled with laughter, learning, and, of course, some incredible rum tasting. Here’s a recap of our delightful evening and the standout experiences we had with Cockspur’s exquisite lineup.

Welcome Cocktail: A Refreshing Start

As we gathered, we were greeted with a welcome cocktail featuring Cockspur Rum. This refreshing concoction set the tone for the evening, hinting at the quality and craftsmanship we were about to experience. The cocktail was the perfect balance of sweet and citrus, making it a fantastic start to our rum journey.

Cockspur Platinum White: A Surprising Delight

The first rum we sampled was the Cockspur Platinum White. This rum truly took us by surprise. Its smoothness and subtle yet distinct flavors made it one of the best white rums I’ve ever tasted. It was so impressive that I didn’t hesitate to add it to my Amazon wishlist right then and there. The Platinum White is perfect for sipping neat or as the base for an upscale cocktail.

Next up was the Cockspur Rum Original. This classic rum didn’t disappoint. It offered a rich, full-bodied experience with notes of vanilla and caramel. While it was enjoyable, it was the next few rums that really stole the show for me.

Cockspur Gold: A Personal Favorite

The Cockspur Rum Gold was a standout. With its deep amber color, it promised a lot and delivered even more.
