Visit & Vibes
I noticed a deal for afternoon tea at the Carlton George Hotel in Glasgow.
Although I’ve been there before, I decided to purchase one and treat my mum. Upon arrival, the afternoon tea venue was located on the 7th floor, and upon entering, the staff warmly welcomed us and escorted us to our table.

The Food
Afternoon Tea (ITISON Voucher)
Upon arrival, the afternoon tea appeared visually appealing.
It featured a small selection of sandwiches, two sausage rolls, two petite scones accompanied by cream and jam—although I observed that the cream was slightly squishy rather than clotted cream—and a delightful assortment of cakes.
The presentation was aesthetically pleasing, prompting us to eagerly dig in.
Everything that was brought over was lovely and fresh, ranging from the sandwiches to the scones and the cakes.
The portion size of the sandwiches was satisfactory.
While the scones were decent, they were on the smaller side. Personally, I prefer establishments that serve clotted cream with the scones, as opposed to squirty cream, as it tends to be more air.
As for the cakes, they were all delightful and had wonderful flavors.
