Universal Rambla (Barcelona) 2024 : Review

Visit & Vibes

Recently, I took a day trip to Barcelona.

While exploring, I indulged in various snacks hidden throughout the city. However, when it came to dinner, I sought a proper meal.

As I strolled down, perusing menus, a staff member from a particular establishment emerged—remarkably attentive and friendly.

Engagingly, they began discussing the menu, and their warmth convinced me to step inside and experience what dinner had to offer.

The Food

Paella de carne 18,90€
Meat Paella

While perusing the menu, a few items caught my fancy, but being in this locale, I felt compelled to try the paella.

Opting for the meat paella to stay within budget, I found it intriguing.

Upon arrival, it looked appetizing, with an aroma that piqued my interest.

Eagerly taking a bite, the heat was expected, given the 20 to 25 minutes of preparation time. However, flavour-wise, I found it somewhat lacking.

Despite the perfectly cooked chicken and meats, the taste didn’t meet my high expectations. Regrettably, I even had to add a dash of salt, a sign that it fell short of my anticipated flavour profile.

While it proved to be extremely filling, the overall experience, taste-wise, was just satisfactory.

Final Thoughts…

Overal my visit was a little disappointing as I was expecting a really tasty dish but it was one I had to add salt to.

I don’t think I would visit here again on my next trip to Barcelona.
