Recently, I revisited Shwarma King, situated inside the King’s Lounge in Glasgow, craving a shwarma fix.

Although I’ve previously enjoyed their chicken shwarma, this time, I decided to try the mixed shwarma. Following my meal, my plan was to indulge in some shisha and enjoy a meaningful catch-up with a friend.

The Food

Arabic Shawarma (Chicken & Lamb) £9.50

I’ve had the chicken shawarma twice here, and it was really good. The first time was amazing; the second time had a bit more curry flavor.

Today, I decided to try the mixed shawarma.

On arrival, you get a generous portion, and the aroma is absolutely amazing.

Taking a big bite, this shawarma was very juicy, and my mouth exploded with flavors. It’s packed with taste, and after the first bite, I fell in love.

This is much, much better than the standard chicken shawarma due to the variety of flavors.

I savored it from start to finish and can’t wait to have it again. Highly recommended.
