The Management Team have decades of experience between them in both the catering industry and in business growth and expansion. The rare opportunity to develop a site in the much-loved Avenue Shopping Centre was a chance for the Team to collaborate and create this unique restaurant that puts local people and businesses at the forefront.

Visit & Vibes

The guys at The Diner invited me to come and check them out, I have never really tried many places in this area so I thought yeah let’s go and also I love finding new places.

On arrival, I parked in the shopping centre’s car park and only had a short walk to The Diner.

On entering I was treated and shown to my table.

Looking around this was a lovely and cosy place, and very bright due to the windows looking into the shopping centre.

The Food

At tonight’s invite, they wanted us to check out the pizzas, so I had a look at the menu and they had a good choice of different types.

Now the hard part, deciding what one to choose.

Pepperoni £n/a tonight (Normally £8.00)
Tomato sugo base, loads of pepperoni & mozzarella

On arrival, this looked good and smelled very good! I loved that the pepperoni was really visible and there were loads as the description said.

I took a bit and wow this was very cheesy and loaded with amazing tasty pepperoni….this was very very good!!

The base was nice and thin, perfectly cooked and also had a nice crust.

Every bite was packed with flavour and I can’t fault it.

I look forward to trying their other pizzas and also other items.

Fries

I ordered a side of fries to go along with my pizza, and on arrival, they arrived like this and I liked the presentation.

I tasted one and mmm so so good! they were perfectly salted, perfectly cooked and had a nice little crispness to them.

Another really good item at today’s visit.

Chocolate Milkshake

I thought rather than take a cake I would try their milkshakes and opted for the chocolate.

This was more like your old-school style milkshake and had a nice flavour. For me personally, it could have had more chocolate flavour to it, as I got more of the ice cream flavour than chocolate.

This was a nice milkshake to end my night with.

Final Thoughts…

Firstly a big thanks to the guys at The Diner for my invite tonight, I had a very good time.

I really enjoyed the pizza and as I said at the start of the blog post, on my next visit I will try another dish.
