Visit & Vibes
I was having my very first holiday since 2019, and it was 100% needed. I was going to Arles with friends and we just went to see Arles and maybe a few other wee spots on the way.
After arriving in Arles we took a short walk around it and then started to get hungry, and we came across this place and thought let’s just sit in and see what they do.
Brasserie L’Aficion is situated right next to the Arles l’Amphitheatre which is one of the main tourist spots, but we managed to get a seat easily, and looking around we had a really great view of the l’Amphitheatre.

The Food
As you would expect you are next to a tourist attraction so the prices will be a little higher than normal, we were ok with that as the view was very nice and we sat in the shade for our lunch.
Unfortunately, the photos have a slight yellow tint to them, that’s due to sitting under a yellow canopy for shade.
Hamburger Lou Trident €21
Minced bull steak 150gr, Comte cheese, homemade burger sauce (Steak hache de Taureau 150gr, Comte, sauce burger maison)
As you can see the portion size was very good, and visually it looked good.
I asked for the burger to be medium.
After a few quick pics, I dug right in as I was very hungry.
I started with the chips and they were perfectly cooked, and for me perfectly salted.
Now time to try the burger, I took a massive bite….oh this was really good! the burger was cooked perfectly and had a nice flavour, the sauce was nice and had a small kick to it and the overall bite was really good.
Yes, it’s a little more than it probably should have cost, but flavour-wise and portion size it was really good and I can’t fault it in any way.

Final Thoughts…
I did visit the bathroom which is located upstairs and it wasn’t the cleanest, but wasnt bad bad.
Service was a little slow and the personality of the waitress was not great, putting that aside the view was great and the food was very tasty and a good portion size.
Rating this just on food etc I would give it a solid 4 out of 5, but due to the service, I am dropping it down to a 3.
