Tonight I was meeting a friend for dinner and he managed to get an Itison deal for here, the offer was 4 courses with a cocktail each for £45.00 how good is that!!!

I was in here years ago, so I was looking forward to checking it out again.

Inside has a really lovely decor, it creates a nice cosy relaxing atmosphere and I knew I was going to enjoy my visit.

The Food

Savoury pizza doughnut, tomato sugo, fresh basil & Grana Padano

This was a pre-starter and on arrival, this looked and smelled amazing.

I have never had this before, so I was looking forward to trying it.

Oh WOW! now this was mega tasty! I could have easily had loads of these!

I look forward to having these again!

Calamari
with spring onion, garlic & chilli, served with ginger mayo

I love a good calamari dish, more so if they are perfectly cooked and have a nice batter so I had to check them out here.

On arrival the presentation was lovely and the portion size was very good! for a starter and due to it being a voucher…very pleasantly surprised.

The aroma was also very good, and it was now time to taste.

I tried one that didn’t have any mayo on it first, the calamari was cooked perfectly and not rubbery and the batter was light and had a really good crispness.

I tried it with the mayo and this was really good! this was a very good dish with a really good flavour.

Pizza Napoletana
San Marzano sugo, Fior di latte, mozzarella, smoked provola cheese, chorizo, fraiarelli broccoli, rocket, pecorino romano & chilli oil

I spotted a few dishes I wanted to try, but I opted for this one and this pizza as there were two pizzas on the menu.

I sliced it up and took a slice.

With everything on this, I expected a big explosion of flavours, but it was nice but none of the individual flavours really came through. Only when I had a slice with chorizo then I got a burst of flavour.

Don’t get me wrong it was a nice pizza, the base was lovely and thin, and the crust was nice but flavour-wise it was just ok.

Cheesecake Al Cioccolato
Amaretti biscuit base topped with dark chocolate & ricotta cheese with rich Medjool date sauce.

I spotted tiramisu but then I spotted this and thought I had to check this one out….even though I love tiramisu.

On arrival the presentation was cute, and it looked very good.

I took a good spoonful and mmmm this hit my sweet tooth spot! it was packed with flavour, lovely and sweet and so moreish!

I could have easily had another one of these!

Frozen Limoncello
Limoncello, Finlandia vodka, sugar, lemon juice

Don’t you just love a wee cheeky cocktail with your dinner, and again this was a great addition to tonight’s meal

As soon as I saw the word “Lemoncello” that was me sold! I had to try this one.

On arrival the presentation was great, this looked amazing and I couldn’t wait to take a sip!

I took a sip and mmmm so so so good! the flavour was spot on and the texture was so good! it reminded me of a Lemoncello slushy and I could have easily had another.
