Roma (Clarkston) 2023 : Review

Visit & Vibes

The guys at Roma sent me a wee ping to come and check them out.

They have recently reopened after a refurb and on entering I could see they have spent a lot of time getting it ready to open again.

On entering today was very very busy, which I always love to see as that means it’s popular, and also due to the current climate it’s nice to see a business doing well.

The Food

Looking at the menu I was very surprised, as they had so many delicious sounding dishes and I could have easily chosen about 6 items.

Today it was lunch so I decided to finally opt for a burger.

Katsu Chicken Burger £n/a today (normally £13.95)
Breaded chicken burger on a brioche bun, lettuce, beef, tomato, red onion, dill pickle, and katsu mayo, served with slaw and chips.

This sounded like an interesting option today, and I am glad I ordered it.

On arrival, this was a big burger and smelled very very good too.

I took a big bite and ohhhh, I got a lovely tender chicken followed by a little bit of salt then the Katsu mayo came through and then it all rounded off and worked so well together.

The chips were perfectly cooked and had a nice flavour, I didn’t even need to add any salt to them which for me is always a win.

I was glad I was very hungry today as I was mega full after this, like I said at the start it was a big burger but one I really enjoyed from start to finish.

Final Thoughts…

Firstly a big thanks to Roma for my invitation, I had a lovely lunch and I was happy to see how busy the place was today.

If you are a burger fan then check here out!

I will come back soon to try another dish or two, so see you soon!
