My Purchase
I recently visited Taste Perthshire and when walking around their wee shop I spotted this.
I am a BIG Irn Bru fan and I thought I need to get this today, and I did just that.
The Gin
20cl for £10 | 50cl for £22

I was very excited to try this as I love gin and as I said I love Irn bru so on my drive home all I could think about was “how will this taste?”
Once I got home and got everything all sorted, it was time to sit down and taste.
Opening the bottle I smelled it, and the aroma I got was 90% gin and 10% something else…not an Irn Bru hint like expected but something else.
I poured myself a good-sized glass and took a sip.
hmm ok, the gin flavour was very nice, and I found it very smooth…but did it taste like Irn Bru Gin?
I have to start by saying I have a sweet tooth, and this is also my personal taste.
Yeah it kinda did but a very weak taste of Irn Bru, don’t get me wrong this was still a very tasty flavoured gin but the Irn Bru for me could have been a bit stronger in taste.
I actually finished this over three nights, so that tells you how much I liked it.
I checked out their website and spotted they do other flavoured Gin so if I spot them I will be checking them out.

Final Thoughts…
Overall this was still a very tasty gin and I am glad I checked it out, as I said for my personal tastes the Irn Bru flavour could have been a bit stronger but I still enjoyed it.
I would buy this again, but I want to check out their other flavoured gins to see what they are like.
