It was that time of year again my birthday! My parents booked a table at Bella Vita, which is one of my favorite Italian restaurants.

Upon arrival, it was great to see the staff and have a quick catch-up; they are always so warm and friendly. As usual, the team was very kind and prepared several appetizers for us. These included a platter, their amazing meatballs, and macaroni and cheese squares, just to name a few.

All of these dishes were packed with flavour, and we loved every bite. Just like always, the meatballs were the winner for me! Finally, it was time to order our main courses.

After devouring all those incredible starters, it was finally time for the main event!

I decided to stick with a personal favorite: the pizza. I love ordering pizza here because if I can’t finish it, I know I’ve got the perfect leftovers to take home for later (or a cheeky breakfast the next day).

I went with the Diavolo, a Margherita base topped with mildly spiced Italian pepperoni.

As always, it looked stunning the moment it hit the table. The aroma was incredible, and even though I was already starting to feel full, I couldn’t wait to dig in. From the first bite to the last, it was cooked to perfection, a lovely thin, crispy base topped with pepperoni that was absolutely bursting with flavour.

If you’re a pepperoni pizza fan, this is one you need to check out!

Firstly, a huge thanks to the team here for the extra treats and the consistently great service!

Tonight’s meal was fantastic. We all had a wonderful time, and the amazing food made for a perfect birthday dinner. Bella Vita is easily one of my favorite restaurants; if you haven’t checked them out yet, make sure you do!
