Todays Visit

Since my first visit, my parents have been here a few times, and I wanted to head back and try something else this time around.

The Food

Last time I had a burger so it was time to pick something different.

Traditional battered fresh Fish & Chips £15.75

On arrival, this looked like a good-sized portion and smelled very good.

The presentation was also very good, so it was time to take pics and then dig right in.

I started with the chips and oh these were very very good, nice crispness to them and no extra salt needed mmmm perfect.

Now on to the fish, visually this didn’t look too big but the whole dish was very big so I knew this would be very filling.

I took a bite and let’s start with the batter, this was thin but just like the chips had a good crispness to it, then the fish was perfectly cooked and nice and flaky.

Overall the fish was very very tasty and I enjoyed this dish from start to finish.

Crème Brûlée, Clotted Cream, Fresh Berries £6.95

Yip there is always room for dessert, and tonight I opted to try the Creme Brulee

On arrival, this looked very good and a good size after my very large fish dish.

I tapped the top and it had a good crispy layer, and now to taste.

The flavor was spot on and the texture of the top mixed with the lower part mmm so so so good!

I could have easily had another but I didn’t want to be a pig tonight.

Visit Overall

It was nice to come back and try something different, I had a lovely evening and a very nice meal.

The service was very good, and the waitress very friendly and attentive.

I am adding here to my top spots as I can’t fault it.
