Lunch at The Cove (Gourock) 2022 : Review

Todays Visit

Every now and then I like to take a wee drive to Gourock as it brings back nice memories of my childhood.

I used to come down here with my grandpa and go out on his boat and admire the sights and also do a spot of fishing.

I have been to The Cove a few times before, and today I wanted to try something different.

Eggs Benedict £7.25
Poached eggs, cured ham, served on toasted muffin, topped with hollandaise sauce.

When it arrived! Well, what can I say, it looked incredible and I couldn’t wait to taste it.

Each individual item of this dish was really tasty, the sauce, the eggs the ham were all tasty!

As you can see by the photo the eggs were cooked perfectly and the whole bite was very very good.

I would easily have this again on my next visit.

Jam & Coconut Square

There is always room for a little something else and this caught my eye today.

Firstly let’s start with the presentation, this was very good and I loved the Halloween theme.

This was a perfect end to my lunch, it was light, tasty, and very nice and a really good-sized slice.

As always I had a lovely time here, the atmosphere was very good, the food was very good and the wee walk about the waterfront was lovely.
