The Kitchen Window (Killearn) 2022 : Review

Todays Visit

I was told about the Kitchen Window a while ago, so I added it to my list of places to visit and decided to check it out now.

Today’s weather was miserable but I still headed there to see what it was like and grab some lunch.

There was a few people in today, so I didn’t take many inside photos as they were eating.

Inside was lovely, the first thing I will mention is there was a lift for wheelchair access which is always great to see.

The inside décor is very modern and bright and has a lovely large window so you can get a good view (when it’s nice) and also sit outside to enjoy the view.

The Food

I had not looked at the menu prior to the visit, so it was a surprise.

The menu was very varied and I am sure there is something for everyone.

I had two things in mind and couldn’t decide, but when I was told an item wasn’t available I made my mind up and got the French Toast.

French Toast with Bacon and Maple Syrup £11.95
The Kitchen Window’s Signature brioche French toast with your choice of toppings.

On arrival, I actually said “wow” out loud as it was huge!

This was for lunch but I think this has now become my lunch and dinner!

After all the snaps, I dug right in.

Let me start by saying this was very very filling, but it was also very very tasty!

I highly recommend this, but only if you’re very hungry as I was so full for the rest of the day but it was worth it…I really enjoyed this.

Visit Overall

What an interesting wee drive here, and I am glad I did it.

Here is lovely and would be really lovely on a sunny day so I will check it out again when the weather gets better as I would like to see the view from the window.
