Todays Visit

The guys at Fireaway Pizza invited me to come and check them out.

East Kilbride is an area I don’t tend to head to very often as it’s always the town, or West End, or some random drive….so it was nice to find another new place somewhere close to home.

I love pizza and love trying different styles of pizza, so I was looking forward to seeing what these guys do.

Inside has a great bright and modern feel to it and was fun to wait in as you could see them make the pizza in front of you.

The Food

The invite was for me with a plus one, so that meant two pizzas and I decided to treat my dad as the plus one.

Pestuno £n/a (normally £9.95)
Pesto Base, Mozzarella, Olives, Spinach, Sweetcorn

Yip! not the normal pizza I would go for but I wanted to try something different, and a pesto pizza was the one that stood out for me.

When I got home and opened the box this looked and smelled interesting, I love pesto so this would be good!

I took a bite and the pesto comes through to start with followed by the mozzarella then the sweetcorn and ended with the spinach.

This was very tasty and I am very glad I tried this as it’s not something I would have normally ordered, but I would have it again as I enjoyed every bite.

King Pepperoni £n/a (normally £9.95)
Tomato Base, Mozzarella, Pepperoni

Pepperoni is always a go-to pizza for me or a 4 cheese, and tonight I really felt like Pepperoni.

When I opened the box the aroma hit me and wow this smelled so so so good! and visually this looked very very good.

Time to taste…

Just like the other pizza the base was nice and thin and had a good flavour, and the pepperoni was mega tasty

Firstly a big thanks to the guys at Fireaway for my invite, and for the two pizzas.

Just like always this was a 100% honest review of my thoughts and not influenced in any just because it was gifted.

I am adding here to my top takeaway spots page and I will be heading back soon to try some more.
