About Leopardo’s
Leopardo has opened at Glasgow Fort and we are ready to welcome you in!
All the family can enjoy Neapolitan-style pizzas made using the finest ingredients and with delicious leopard-spotted crusts that come from being cooked in at 500 degrees in specially imported Italian ovens.
Todays Visit
The guys at Lepoardo’s sent me a wee invite to their pre-launch night, and I had to accept it as I love pizza and love checking out new places.
The location is great as it’s situated at the Glasgow Fort so you don’t need to worry about parking, as there are LOADS of parking spaces…plus while you are here you can get a wee bit of shopping done then grab some lunch or dinner.
Décor

Inside has a bright, modern and relaxing look and feel to it.
I loved how you could easily see the massive pizza ovens and that they are preparing the pizzas right there in front of you…a very enjoyable watch if you get the chance to have a wee look.

The Food & Drinks
While deciding what to order I ordered a mocktail, as I was driving tonight and this one stood out to me.
FAKE FRENCH MARTINI £n/a tonight (normally £4)
Raspberry and vanilla syrup, fresh pineapple juice.

On arrival as you can see this looked very much like a french martini, and I couldn’t wait to try it.
The taste I have to admit was very very close to the original cocktail and due to its flavours, this was really good.
I would 100% get this again and enjoyed it with my meal tonight.

LEOPARDO DA VINCI £n/a tonight (normally £14.00)
Double pepperoni with a creamy burrata in the middle, with fior di latte
mozzarella, fresh basil and finished with hot honey

This was Leopardo’s signature pizza, so tonight I had to try it and see what this was like.
On arrival, this looked very nice, and I liked the presentation with the fior di latte mozzarella in the middle.
I sliced it up and spread the mozzarella around and dug right in.
The first thing I noticed was the base, this was perfectly cooked and nice and thin which is the way it should be…next was the flavours I was getting the pepperoni followed by the honey.
The bite as a whole was very very good, and I enjoyed every bite and slice.
I can see why this is their signature as it was a very very tasty pizza.

GARLIC PIZZA BREAD (V) n/a tonight (normally £5)
Garlic and herbs

On arrival, this looked good and was a good portion size, which was good as I was sharing with my friend tonight.
With the first taste this was very nicer, but what I found was the longer it sat the less flavour lessened which is a shame.
