The Food

I knew I wanted to try at least 2 dishes today, and if room try a dessert.

Stornoway Italian Style £6.95
crostini bread topped with black pudding & melted goats cheese

On arrival this was MUCH MUCH larger in portion size than I expected.

This could easily do two people for a starter, but I accepted my challenge and dug right in.

On its own each part was very nice, the crostini was nice and crisp, the black pudding packed with flavour and the cheese very nice.

This was a perfect bite all together, combined with the rocket and oil this really had a great flavour.

This was a meal in itself, but I did finish this and highly recommend it if you visit…though if you are aiming for two courses maybe share this one.

Spaghetti Carbonara £10.45

I love a good Spaghetti Carbonara but it has to be done the Italian way with no cream, so when I ordered I asked what way this is done. The waiter asked how I would like it and I said the proper Italian way with no cream.

When this arrived visually this looked very very good, and looked the way it should…I was very happy to see that.

This was a very nice carbonara, the spaghetti was cooked perfectly and the flavour was very nice.

If your a carbonara fan you will like this.

Visit Overall

Overall tonight’s visit was very good, I was very relaxed and enjoyed the food.

Next time I will get a smaller starter so I have room for 3 courses.

Have you been here? what did you get and your thoughts?
