I decided to make another visit and try something different to what I had ages ago.

The Food

I wasn’t mega hungry but I knew I could at least eat one course, so I opted for the main and a chicken burger.

Smothered Chicken Burger £11.79
Golden-fried buttermilk chicken goujons topped with streaky bacon, Cheddar cheese and BBQ sauce (1,156kcal with bun, 958kcal without bun)

On arrival this looked good, and smelled ok.

I took a bite of the chips and they were nice, no salt needed for me…and they were skinny fries which is always a win for me.

I then took a bit of the burger and it was so so, if it didn’t have the BBQ sauce there really wasn’t much flavour just more texture.

I did finish this but wow very very low in flavour for me as it should have been much nicer.

Visit Overall

Today felt just like the last, service and staff were good but the food just not that tasty.

I know its basically pub grub, but I have had better and more flavourful eats in other places similar style to here.
