Charcoals Peri Peri Takeaway (Glasgow) : Review

GIFTED

The guys over at Charcoals Peri Peri asked if I would like to try some of their food for tonights meal.

I was actually look at their menu a few days before they contacted me, so it was perfect timing.

I then found out that Muhammad Sultan also manages Charcoals Peri Peri, if you don’t know Muhammad Sultan he works in Glasgows Charcoals Indian restaurant, he does amazing charity work and he is a really really nice guy and I consider him a friend.

What to order?

As I said I had actually had a look at their menu a few days prior to them contacting me, and I liked what I saw but couldnt decided.

So now I sat down and had a good think and this is what I ordered.

Charcoals Chicken Wings⁣

I opened the container and wow the amazing smell hit me, and then it was photos and dig in.

The chicken was nice and tender, and the flavour was very very nice.

⁣Gourmet beef burger⁣

I have not had a burger for a while, its mostly been chicken for the past few days for me so I was looking forward to this.

This was very nice, the flavour of the whole burger was really good.

This along with the chips was very nice.

I did add some extra sauce to my burger, but thats just a personal preference.

⁣Poppin Chicken ⁣

As soon as I opened the container mmmm they looked amazing and mmmm smelled amazing to.

Now these were so so good!!! the chicken was tender and the crispy batter had a great flavour. I could easily become addicted to these.

These were my favourite from my whole meal, and as I am typing this review I want them again 🙂

⁣Classic Peri Peri chicken (whole chicken)

Now this was a big bird!

Just like the chicken wings these had the same great flavour and also again very tender and succulent chicken.

⁣⁣Chips and Cheese⁣

A classic and splits a lot of people, some like it and others say nope.

For me chips and cheese is always a winner, the chips were nice and the melted cheese over them was perfect.

⁣Aloo paratha

Just like naan Aloo Paratha’s are becoming a new fav, and I have even made a few at home (but not as good as the restaurants…yet)

This was very nice, perfectly cooked and had a nice flavour mixed with a very small kick.

So good and mega moreish!

Overall :

Note : Just because this was gifted, that has not influenced my thoughts in any way. The above is a 100% honest review of the food.

Firstly a big thanks to the guys at Charcoals Peri Peri and Muhammad Sultan for tonights meal.

I was soooo full after all this, but I enjoyed every bite from start to finish. The flavours of every dish were perfect, cooked perfect and thoroughly enjoyed every dish.

As I said my fav from tonight was those Poppin Chicken, these were super addictive I am definatly going to get these again!!!!

I have no issues recommending Charcoals Peri Peri, from ordering to delivery to the food everything was very tasty and I enjoyed it.
