I couldn’t come to Alicante without doing a little research on some of the most popular spots for snacks, drinks, and treats. One place that had received a lot of great reviews caught my eye, so I had to check it out and see what they had to offer.

The Cookies

Una explosión de cacao puro, sabor intenso y suave. Para los amantes del chocolate sin culpa. (An explosion of pure cocoa, intense and smooth flavour. For chocolate lovers without guilt.)

This is a lovely little shop, and to be honest, I could have tried one of everything. But since I knew I had other places I wanted to visit, I decided to be a good boy and just go for one. With my notorious sweet tooth, I opted for the cookie called In Charcoal We Trust.

It cost just under €4 and was a generous size. Taking it out onto the street to try while walking, I found it absolutely delicious. The outside had a lovely crunch, and the inside was gooey and packed with pure, intense chocolate flavour 100% perfect for me. I savoured every bite.

If you’re a fan of cookies and find yourself in Alicante, you have to check this place out. I highly recommend it, great value for money and incredibly tasty.

If I ever return to Alicante, I’ll definitely be coming back here to try a few more.
