INVITED

Visit & Vibes
I recently received a message from Sub126 inviting me to visit their location.
I glanced at their Instagram and discovered they are relatively new to Glasgow City Centre. After looking at some of their posts and stories from other visitors since their opening, I decided to check them out because the food looked appealing.

On arrival, the place had a very cosy vibe. You can either come in for takeout or sit down, although seating is limited. I enjoyed looking at everything; it all looked very fresh.
They also serve coffee and other beverages. Be sure to check out their boards if you visit. Overall, the place had a nice atmosphere, especially with a DJ playing some funky tunes tonight. I couldn’t wait to decide what to order.

The Food
2. Spicy salami, cheddar, rocket, hot honey, sriracha butter (£n/a tonight normally £7.50)

So I decided to order the number 2 sub, as the hot honey, sriracha butter, and spicy salami really caught my attention. After sitting down, I opened it up and took a photo of the sub and a cross-section, which is always necessary to show it off. Just look at the picture above. How good does that look? I can tell you, it was a really good size, and I could smell the salami and hot honey just from the photo.
When I took a big bite, it delivered exactly what it promised. The sub was lovely and fresh, with a nice flavour. You could taste each individual ingredient on its own, and then experience the wonderful overall combination. The cheddar, rocket, and hot honey were the standout flavors for me.
To be honest, it was really, really tasty, and I could have easily had another one tonight. That’s how good it was. The combination of ingredients was perfect—lovely and fresh. Honestly, it was really good.
This place is situated in a fantastic area with a great catchment, so if you work in the offices, shops, etc., I highly recommend you check out the number 2 sub. Tonight, I heard it was one of the most popular options being ordered.

Final Thoughts…
Firstly, a massive thanks to the team at Sub126 for inviting me tonight. I’m so glad I attended, as I’ve now found a great spot in the city centre for an extremely fresh and tasty sub sandwich. If I’m in the area again, I’ll definitely be popping in and trying something different to explore their other combinations.
As I mentioned earlier, this place is in a fantastic location, and the food tonight was extremely tasty. They also offer teas and coffees, cakes, pastries, and soups. So, check them out and let me know what you get and what you think!
