Visit & Vibes

I enjoy exploring new places, and recently stumbled upon a farm shop that was new to me. Located just a 10-minute drive from my home, I decided to pay it a visit.

Upon entering, I first stepped into the charming little shop, which immediately caught my eye. However, I opted to explore the dining area first, which was bustling with activity.

If you plan to dine here, I’d recommend booking ahead, as it tends to get busy.

Fortunately, there was a table available, and a friendly staff member escorted me to it. Although it was crowded, I didn’t manage to take many photos inside. Nevertheless, I’m sure you’ll find more pictures on their Facebook page. The interior is tastefully decorated, boasting a modern aesthetic, and impeccably clean.

Home Reared Wagyu Beef Burger, Lettuce, Tomato, and Burger Sauce served in a brioche bun.

Feeling hungry today, I took a good look at their menu and spotted they offered a Wagyu burger paired with chips, so I decided to give it a try.

Upon arrival, I was pleased to find the portion size generous, accompanied by a side of coleslaw.

Starting with the chips, they were perfectly cooked and didn’t need any extra seasoning to enhance their flavour.

Moving on to the coleslaw, it was delightfully creamy, lacking the usual sharpness found in other varieties.

Now onto the burger itself—a substantial offering, with perfectly cooked bacon, complete with crispy bits that I adore. The overall flavour of the burger was exceptional, and it left me feeling very satisfied. I wouldn’t hesitate to order it again; that’s how much I enjoyed it.

Final Thoughts…

After finishing my meal, I took a leisurely stroll around the shop and was delighted to find a variety of Scottish brands represented. From food items and seasonings to drinks and cakes, the selection was impressive.

I spotted a couple of items that I plan to purchase once my renovation is complete.

Overall, my visit today was excellent. The staff were exceptionally pleasant, the food was delicious, and the bustling atmosphere indicated the popularity of the place.

I highly recommend calling ahead to book a table to avoid disappointment in case it’s crowded. I’ll definitely be returning soon, as I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. If you do check it out, I’d love to hear what you think!
