Visit & Vibes
Today, I decided to embark on a long drive around the island to explore as many sights as possible.
After the extensive journey, I found myself in need of a dinner spot. Uncertain about which establishments were open or closed, I opted to return to the hotel and visit their bar, hoping to enjoy a drink and explore their food offerings.
Inside the bar was very cozy, not much different from your typical bar, although a tad more traditional, with a fantastic view when you stepped outside the door, a feature not common in many bars.
Today, I had decided to have my dinner here, and inside, it was quite busy. The rugby game was on, creating a lively atmosphere.

The Food
Beef Burger topped with Tomato, Relish, Onion – Chips, and Salad £12.95
(Add Cheese £1, Bacon £1, Haggis £1, Jalapenos £1)

After my long drive, I had been mostly snacking throughout the day, so I was craving something more substantial than chocolate and crisps. I noticed they offered a burger on the menu and asked for extra cheese to be added. Additionally, I ordered a pint of Guinness.
Upon the burger’s arrival, I found it to be a generous size with a good portion of chips. Presentation-wise, it looked appealing, and I couldn’t wait to dig in.
Starting with the chips, they were ok. Perhaps they could have been cooked for a bit longer to achieve a crispier exterior, but that’s just a personal preference. Nonetheless, they were tasty, and I didn’t feel the need to add any extra salt. Then, I eagerly took a massive bite of the burger.
The burger was cooked to perfection, and the relish truly shone, enhancing the overall flavor. It was incredibly tasty, with each bite bursting with flavor. Among pub burgers, this is undoubtedly one of the best I’ve had, and I would gladly order it again. While perusing the menu, I noticed a few other tempting items, so if I were to return for another meal, I might opt for something different.
Nevertheless, this burger stood out as one of the most delicious pub burgers I’ve ever had, which speaks volumes.
Overall, I was thoroughly satisfied and full after enjoying this meal, as it filled me up nicely after my long drive. The relish, as I mentioned, truly elevated the burger’s taste.

Final Thoughts…
Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the burger was, particularly coming from a pub.
As mentioned, I would easily order it again. I thoroughly enjoyed my visits to the Mishnash Bar and appreciated the lively atmosphere, especially with everyone excited about the rugby game.
Despite not being knowledgeable about rugby myself, the energy added a fun element to the end of a long day of driving for me. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend checking out the bar.
They offer a good selection of drinks, and as previously mentioned, it’s a charming, cozy spot with a stunning view when you step outside.
