The Visit
During a spontaneous visit to Bella Vita in Moss Park, I found myself immersed in the bustling atmosphere after a last-minute decision while in town for some shopping.
Anticipating the potential chaos elsewhere, I took a chance and called Bella Vita, successfully arranging a last-minute reservation.
The excitement was palpable as I pondered the menu, determined to break away from my usual choice of carbonara, despite its undeniable appeal.
Eager to explore new flavours, I couldn’t wait to embark on a culinary adventure different from my previous experiences at the restaurant.
The spontaneity of the evening added a delightful twist to my dining routine, making this visit to Bella Vita a memorable and enjoyable escapade from the ordinary.

The Food
Similar to my previous experience, the guys at the restaurant presented a delightful platter.
Unfortunately, my photos failed to capture its true beauty, so I’ve decided not to post them.
However, on this occasion, I chose to forgo a starter given the substantial platter they served me. Instead, I opted for something different and selected the Tortellini as my main dish.
The Food
TORTELINI DI CARNE PROSCIUTTO E PANA £12.50
Ring shaped parcels of pasta filled with minced pork & beef, cooked in a light cream sauce with strips of cooked ham, finished with parmesan & basil.

Upon arrival, the dish presented itself as visually enticing, and the aroma was truly captivating.
The portion was perfect, and the delightful blend of parmesan and cooked ham filled the air. Eager to savour it, I couldn’t wait to dig in. As I indulged, the perfectly cooked pasta, exquisite sauce, and harmonious mix of flavours made every mouthful a delight.
This dish proved to be incredibly filling, and the ample portion left me satisfied.
Trying something different tonight turned out to be an excellent choice—one I’m glad I made and would readily choose again.
I highly recommend this dish when you visit Bellavita.

Homemade Tiramisu £4.50

Despite the substantial starter and pasta from Bella Vita, both of which were amazing, I couldn’t resist indulging in a dessert.
With just enough room left, I decided on the tiramisu, being a massive fan of this classic treat.
Upon its arrival, the presentation was appealing, and I eagerly anticipated savouring it. True to the exceptional standard of my previous visits, the tiramisu lived up to expectations. Creamy, bursting with amazing flavours, remarkably light, and thoroughly delicious, I relished every bite and savoured the entire dessert.
