Pizza Express (Livingston Designer Outlet) 2023 : Review

Visit & Vibes

Today I decided to take a drive to Livingston Shopping Centre and on arrival I was hungry so, as I embarked on my little outing, the bustling crowds couldn’t deter my quest for a satisfying meal. My destination of choice? None other than Pizza Express.

Now, I must admit, Pizza Express has always fallen into my “just okay” category in the past. But on this particular day, I decided to give it another chance, fueled by both curiosity and a voracious appetite.

The Food

BBQ Burnt Ends £16.45
Slow-cooked beef brisket with a hint of chipotle, sweet & smoky BBQ sauce, mozzarella and red onions, topped with roasted tomatoes and parsley

Craving the comforting indulgence of pizza, I found myself at Pizza Express today, faced with an enticing menu that left my taste buds tingling with anticipation.

After careful consideration, my choice landed on the BBQ Burnt Ends Pizza, a pizza that sounded very very tasty boasting slow-cooked beef brisket, and sweet and smoky BBQ sauce, all crowned with roasted tomatoes and a sprinkle of fresh parsley. The description alone promised a flavor explosion.

Upon its arrival, the sheer size of the pizza was impressive, and the aroma that wafted from it was nothing short of tantalizing. With the first bite, my taste buds were treated to a symphony of flavors. The thin, perfectly cooked crust provided a delightful foundation for the harmonious blend of ingredients.

The star of the show was undeniably the beef brisket, a tender and succulent delight that danced in perfect harmony with the smoky BBQ sauce. This pizza had transformed my perception of Pizza Express from “just okay” to a place worthy of return visits.

The BBQ Burnt Ends Pizza was not just delicious; it was a mega tasty pizza, and I can’t wait to have it again.
