Travelling to London? Here are the Best Restaurants you Should be Booking

You really can’t get bored of eating out in London. The restaurant scene is full of different flavours and cuisines, not to mention that there is truly something for everyone. Being taken care of at one of London’s many restaurants is nothing short of a privilege and there has never been a better time for you to sit back and sample everything the city has to offer. Want to find out more? Take a look below.

Manteca

This is Chris Leach and David Carter’s underrated restaurant. It opened in Shoreditch a few years ago and the menu is nothing short of fantastic. You can expect refined and rugged cuisines, not to mention that you can sample a lot of different themed dishes here too. They are famous for their stuffed pig’s snout, so if you are feeling adventurous, make sure that you do not overlook this as an option.  You also have the pig skin ragu, which was created to try and reduce the amount of waste the kitchen was producing. If you want to make the most out of your stay then make sure that you look up hotels near Hammersmith, so you can visit other local restaurants in the area.

Singburi

You cannot order badly when it comes to Singburi. It’s a cash-only restaurant in Leytonstone and over the years they have grown to have a  very loyal following. The standard menu of curries and noodles is great, but they also have a range of specials on the blackboard. This is where the real treasure is.

Quality Wines

The Quality Chop House might be fantastic, but it is usurped by the sibling that’s next door. Nick Bramham has managed to create a lot of gems in his restaurant and there are many hot plates for you to choose from as well. You can take advantage of the pork-fat cannolo or you can choose the skewers of olive, anchovy and even pickled chilli.

St. John

Fergus Henderson started this stripped-back restaurant three decades ago and it is still going strong. The dining room is fantastic but it is the dishes that stand out beyond the rest. The rarebit and egg mayo sandwich is not to be missed and the bone marrow salad is full of oily goodness too. You will not want to visit London without visiting this location and you would be surprised at how high the standard of quality is, in comparison to the price you pay.

Planque

So what’s the deal with this restaurant? It’s a wine-centric member’s club and it is run by Seb Myers. They have a large range of French cuisines available and this happens to include monkfish, calf brains and even cheaper options for those who are a little more budget-conscious. The menu here is always changing but you can expect to see the lobster tartine on the list at all times, which comes with a stunningly thick seafood sauce and caviar. This is one dish that you really do not want to miss out on.
