I have had here on my list for a wee while, and today I decided to check it out as I like trying new spots and wee drives.

On arrival, I loved seeing all the boats (I really want one), and I headed inside.

Inside was nicely decorated, and I was shown to my table which was next to the window so I had a nice view.

The Food

I was then shown the table and given a menu.

Once I decided what I was having I had a wee look around so I could place my order, this is where things didn’t go too well.

It wasn’t that busy in the section I was in, maybe 3 or 4 tables but I waited close to just over 15 mins from when I decided what I wanted to order. Staff were out and serving the other tables but didn’t really look in my direction.

I did later find out there was a function on in the next room, so I will forgive the slow waiting due to that.

pepper & onions lettuce, tomato, Monterey jack cheese & chipotle sauce with Chartroom fries and slaw (gf+)

On arrival, this looked very nice, and I was very hungry so I couldn’t wait to taste it.

Let’s start with the chips, these were cooked nicely but did require some salting…but overall they were nice.

Time for the burger…

I took a big bite and the peppers, cheese, and chipotle sauce were the first flavors to come over then the chicken. The chicken was cooked nicely and tender.

The overall flavor was nice, and the chipotle sauce gave it a nice wee kick.

Final Thoughts…

Overall my visit was ok, even if the service was slow to take my order and also to pay for the bill (as I said they did have an event on but could have been a bit more attentive when in the same room)

I enjoyed the wee drive here and also seeing the boats.
