Simeone’s (West End, Glasgow) 2022 : Review

Todays Visit

I last visited Simeone’s when I was a judge for the Scottish Italian Awards 2021, and enjoyed what I got and also said I would be back (I always keep my word)

Finally, after all this time on my massive to-visit list, it was time to head back and order a wee takeaway.

The Food

I knew before entering I wanted to have the special fish….so that’s exactly what I ordered.

Special Fish Supper £8.40

I got home and opened the container and the smell was mmmm and visually it looked good.

I plated up and sat down to enjoy my takeaway.

Let’s start with the chips, these had a great flavour and were perfectly cooked. I did ask for salt and vinegar to put on my order, and it was a perfect amount.

The fish was a good size and had a good smell.

The batter was very nice, had a good flavour and was thin but added a nice little crispness to the bite.

The fish had a good flavour and with the batter was a really tasty dish.

I found zero bones in my fish, and for me, this is always a mega plus.

Overall this was a great wee takeaway and I am glad to finally be back, at my next visit I will try something else so keep watching my posts.
