Todays Visit

The guys at Big Licks invited me to come and check out their new Braehead restaurant.

I have visited Big Licks in the past though it was mostly for ice cream, today I would be checking out some food and desserts.

On entering the place is very bright, modern and has amazing food and sweets smell to it. I couldn’t wait to sit down, and try something.

On my way to my table, I passed the dessert display and mmmm lots of sweet stuff followed by loads of ice cream.

I knew I would be in for a treat today.

The Food

The menu looks so good and I spotted many items I would have tried, but due to the blue cheese, this one stood out for me.

Buffalo & Blue Cheese Chicken Burger £n/a tonight (normally £9.99)
Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Cheese, Brioche Bun, Blue Cheese Sauce, Buffalo Sauce, Lettuce, Pickles

Yip, you may have noticed that the bun is black…yip they ask if you want a normal or a charcoal one. They taste the same I was told, it’s all just about the visuals.

On arrival when I opened the box and the black bun really made it stand out, then the smell oh wow the blue cheese and chicken smell mmm so good.

I took a big bite and WOW this was super tasty!

Let’s start with the chicken, this was very tender and the coating was just crispy but worked very well. Next the flavours of the blue cheese and the cheese etc that was really good.

As I said as a whole this was a very very tasty burger and I would happily have it again.

If you have been following my blog or my Instagram, you know I LOVE!!!! cookie dough so when I saw this on the menu I knew I had to order it.

This looked and smelled amazing!

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM sums this up 100%

This was sweet, gooey, yummy and mega moreish!

I could have had another one of these and on my return I will have it again.

Firstly a big thank to Big Licks for my invite, the review you have just read was not influenced in anyway due to it being an invite.

I had a good time tonight, and and had a greal meal.

The burger was very very good and I would easily have it again, and the cookie dough mmmmm I cant wait to have it again.
