I was invited to the bloggers launch night for this relaunch, but unfortunately I couldn’t attend as I was in Italy at that point.

So I added it to my list to try and today I visited.

I had only ever been here once many years ago, so I had a rough idea of how it looked. On entering what a difference, the area looked much bigger and brighter and very modern.

I took a look outside as it was a nice day, I can’t remember if this is how it looked or this is now been improved but either way its very nice, and looked very relaxing.

The Food…

Afternoon Tea £N/A (used a voucher)

On arrival the presentation was very nice, another unique way to present the Afternoon Tea. Some places I have been to go for the traditional way, others have tried to be a little more modern just like to day….either way it always works.

The afternoon tea was very fresh, tasty and I enjoyed it very much. My issue normally is when it comes to the scones is it cheap cream or clotted (this is the better option to have when doing scone jam and cream) today was clotted which was excellent.

Overall

The revamp here for me looks really good, I was very impressed at how much it had changed and improved the look and feel. For me the outside looked much nicer than the inside, but thats only if you have a nice day in Glasgow to sit outside.

The service was very good today, and we got chatting to the manager who was very pleasant and helpful.

I have recently visited the Caffe Monza in Glasgow West End, and really enjoyed my snacks there. When I got the invite I couldn’t say no, as 1. I enjoyed the West End one and 2. I hadn’t been to Ayr for a while.

Cafee Monza were nice enough to put on transportation from Glasgow, to take any bloggers all the way through to Ayr. This was amazing and very very nice of them to do this, so a big think you Caffe Monza.

We all met at George Square and hit the road to Ayr.

Caffe Monza is in the main town area of Ayr, and on arrival was nicely light up and we call couldn’t wait to get inside and enjoy the event.

When we entered it was packed, and the atmosphere was buzzing.

The Food :

I decided to have a Panini with a coffee and a cake, but the hard part was what Panini coffee and what cake…hmmm.

Caramel Crunch Latte N/A (Normally £3.50)

Tonight was very good, I heard it was friends and family and a few bloggers. Looking around it was packed so this was a very successful evening.

Throughout the night we had a girl singing and playing the guitar, she was very good and I enjoyed her style and tone.

Again I would like to give a big thank you to Caffe Monza for the invite and putting on the transportation, the driver even dropped us all at our on houses at the end of the night so a massive thank you to him to.

If your ever in Glasgow West End, or even in Ayr do visit Caffe Monza and try a few items you will not be disappointed.

Thanks again Caffe Monza and see you soon. x

Maestro Pizza (Craiova, Romania) : Review

On my walk about Craiova I passed this place a few times, and every time doesn’t matter the time of day this place was always busy. I always saw at least 8 people or more waiting in line to order.

Its a takeaway pizza place, but also does snacks.

One morning we decided that we would have breakfast in the English Park, so it was time to finally visit here and see why it was so popular.

Standing waiting in the long line, I had a look about. The staff were all very busy, and what I could see that was on display looked very good and the smell coming from the shop instantly made my mouth water.

Since it was breakfast and I was going for a meal later, I decided to go for ???

My first impression when I opened the packaging was “this looks so so”, so I continued to the English Park and had a seat.

I then took my first bite……

WOW this was so good, the taste was really good. I don’t know what cheese etc they use but all of it worked very very well together and I can understand why its so popular.

I can’t wait to try more from here, so its now been added again to visit when I am back in Craiova which is in 2018.

I will aim to try a few things from here.
