Todays Visit

I like doing a wee random drive every now and then, and todays random pick was Blackpool. I used to come here as a child with my grandparents, so I wanted to check it out again and see how much its changed.

On arrival after taking a while to find a parking spot, I headed for something to eat and decided to check here out.

The Food

I had no idea what to order but after looking at the menu, I decided to go for a chicken burger.

BBQ Chicken Burger £9.90
Butterfly chicken breast served on a toasted brioche bun with our burger sauce, lettuce, tomato, bread & butter pickles, caramelized red onion, cheddar cheese and BBQ Sauce

From the description this sounded very nice, and on arrival this looked ok.

I started with the chips which were cooked perfect and had a nice taste.

I took a bite of the burger and mmm it was nice but just an ok nice.

I think it it had a crispy coating this would have been much better, but for pub grub burger it was nice.

For pub grub it was good, but I think the burger would have been better if it had a crispy coating as the flavours were nice and the chicken was tender.
