Visit & Vibes

After arriving in Marseille we had a short wander around and wanted to find somewhere for lunch and we came across this lovely square that was surrounded by a few places to eat.

The reason this caught our attention was they did tapas which meant we could try a few things, plus they did a few nice-looking drinks.

The Food

We wanted one large dish each and maybe one or two small dishes….which then ended up as one small and 3 large dishes.

Patatas Brava ou aioli €6

This was the one tapas dish we ordered to share alongside our main dish.

This was a very good portion and had a good aroma.

The Patatas bravas were cooked nicely and had a nice flavour. It came with two dips and both worked really well with them.

Overall this was a nice sharing dish for us and worked alongside our main dish, and with the drinks we ordered.

Calamars Enfarines Frits €18.00
Sauce aioli, pommes frites

As soon as I saw this on the menu I knew this is exactly what I wanted to order.

On arrival, as you can see you get a good portion size, and it comes with fries and a dip.

The aroma from this was very nicer, and I started with the fries. These were perfectly cooked, lovely and thin and perfectly salted.

The calamari was perfectly cooked and not rubbery, on its own it was very tasty and with the two dips just as tasty.

Recommended if you visit here.

My Journey into Spanish Music Part 1

Late 2019 I had a holiday in Palma and this is when I started to check out Spanish music, so Spanish music is relatively new to me compared to my other music posts.

I was booked to go back early 2020 but due to the Covid pandemic it was cancelled.

That was the best holiday I ever had, plus the most relaxed holiday I had ever been on….its one that I will always remember….

If you haven’t checked them out take a look :

Now for some of my favourite Spanish songs that are on my playlist right now.

Nicky Jam : X (Spanglish Version)

Maluma : Hawai

Rauw Alejandro & Camilo – Tattoo Remix

Alejandro Sanz : No Tengo Nada

Melendi – Destino o Casualidad ft. Ha*Ash

Alvaro Soler – Animal (DJ Katch Remix)

I hope you enjoyed listening to these tunes, and learning about new songs and artists.

Enjoy
