Recently, I received an invite from One Under in Glasgow’s Merchant City to check out their new interactive darts experience.

I knew very little about darts—I think I’ve only played it once, many, many years ago, and I was terrible at it. But the invite sounded like such fun that I couldn’t resist. I had to say yes and see what the place was all about.

Upon arrival, the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. They walked me through how to set up a game, explained what the different games were like, and encouraged me to just have fun. It was time for me to give it a try, so I threw my first dart, hoping not to embarrass myself—and yes, it either hit the wall or landed on the floor!

Arrival

Setting up a game was super easy—you just take a picture of yourself, type in your name, and you’re ready to start. I actually surprised myself by doing quite well! Out of all the games I played, I won two or three, which isn’t bad for someone who knew nothing about darts.

I tried two or three different games, and each one was really fun. You can check the rules and how to play directly on the screen, which is great. So if you’re like me and a bit clueless about darts, don’t worry—there’s a helpful recap right there on the screen.

My time playing flew by—it was one of the best nights I’ve had in a long time, filled with lots of laughs, good conversation, and tons of fun.

Final Thoughts…

Overall, I’m really glad I accepted the invite because I had an absolute blast. As I mentioned, it was filled with lots of laughs, great conversation, and tons of fun trying to play darts.

One Under doesn’t just offer interactive darts—they also have mini-golf, and I noticed a pool or snooker table (I’m not sure which one), along with car racing games and a bar if you fancy a drink or two.

I was pleasantly surprised by how cool this place was and the variety of activities they have. It’s definitely somewhere I’ll be going back to with some friends. In fact, as I’m writing this, a couple of my friends have already shown interest after seeing my TikTok video and are keen to check it out.
