Gleneagles Hotel – The Garden Café (2022) Review

Todays Visit

I got a new car and needed a wee drive to test it, due to time issues a few places I fancied driving to would have been closed so here was suggested and I took it up.

I have been here before and enjoyed my visit, so how was todays?

The Food

Isle of Mull Cheddar £11.00
Croissant bun, plum tomato, rocket, Gleneagles & Co Ploughman’s pickle

I had no idea what to order today, as the last time I had a burger but the menu was different so now I had to see what todays menu offered.

I liked the sound of this and decided to order it.

Arrival the presentation looked very nice, but £11 hmm maybe just a little too costly but you are paying for location I guess.

I took a bite and wow this was very very tasty!!! Each bite was the perfect bite as I could taste every flavour and they worked very well together.

I really enjoyed this and would have this again.

Chocolate Milkshake £6.00

I spotted this on the menu and had to try it, as I have not had a milkshake for ages.

On arrival this looked very nice, and I liked the presentation.

I took a sip and it was very very nice!

Thickness was good, taste was nice and overall just really nice and I am glad I decided to order this.

Vegan Chocolate & Peanut Butter Cake £4.00

After my starter I had to get a wee cake, and I liked the sound of this.

It was at this point the service was very bad and very slow. They weren’t too busy that it would take a long time before someone came and took my order, so this was the disappointment for today.

The order was finally placed and it arrived and looked very very nice.

Taste time…

This was very nice, and worth the wait.

It was packed with flavour and very moist which made every mouthful very very nice. I would have this again and recommend it.

Visit Overall

Today was a nice day and I enjoyed testing my new car.

Todays vist for lunch was nice, just the service was extrmely poor.

I saw one waiter looking completely stressed out, so I hope he is ok and the delay in taking orders was very very very slow.

Apart from that the food that I got was very very nice! as you have just seen from this blog post.
