Today, I returned to Braehead Shopping Centre and opted for Prezzo as my lunch-and-dinner spot.

While I’ve frequented this place for pizzas before, I decided to try something new and ordered their risotto for the first time.

The Food

Our creamy saffron butter risotto, enriched with lobster bisque,with prawns and peas

I selected the prawn, saffron, and pea risotto, and upon its arrival, the presentation was impressive.

However, as soon as I delved in with my spoon, it became evident that the portion size was lacking—what you initially see is essentially all there is.

While the aroma was decent, the thickness of the risotto didn’t extend beyond the surface.

On the positive side, the risotto was impeccably cooked, but flavor-wise, it only reached a mediocre level.

Even when I encountered perfectly cooked prawns, their contribution to the overall taste was minimal.

Overall, the experience was just average, and considering the price, a more generous serving would have been appreciated. Would I order it again? No.

Final Thoughts…

Today’s visit was disappointing.

Despite having four people waiting tables, the service was exceptionally slow, and it wasn’t overly busy.

The main dish I ordered was just okay and didn’t feel worth the money. Sorry, guys.
