I missed the launch event, but I was lucky enough I missed the launch event, but I was lucky enough to be invited at a later date to check out @redpeppereat I had seen so many videos of the opening on TikTok with massive queues, so I couldn't wait to visit and see what all the fuss was about. First up was the Fish & Chips. It was a very generous portion size and looked incredible. The batter was lovely and thin while still maintaining a great crispness, completely non-greasy. The fish itself was perfectly cooked, lovely and flaky, and easily one of the nicest fish dishes I’ve had in a very long time. The chips were spot on, and everything paired wonderfully with the tartar sauce. If you are a fish and chips lover, I highly recommend trying this. I promise you won't be disappointed! You can find them on the second floor where all the fast food spots are, tucked away in the far right corner inside the new Super Park. Looking over the menu, several dishes caught my eye, but I hadn’t had a burger in a while, so I went with their signature Smash It Out The Park Burger (Smashed quarter-pounder beef burger, American cheese, crispy onions, homemade brioche bun, sweet pickle, secret sauce). When it arrived, it was a seriously impressive size and looked visually stunning. After snapping a few quick pictures, I couldn't wait to dive in. I took my first bite and, wow!this was good! The beef was cooked to perfection, and the combination of the melted cheese, crispy onions, sweet pickles, and secret sauce on that homemade brioche bun was spot-on. Every single bite was fantastic, and I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. Easily a 10/10 and one I would 100% order again! Another year, another reason to celebrate at Bella Another year, another reason to celebrate at Bella Vita! We headed back to our absolute favorite Italian spot, this time for my dad’s birthday. As always, the food was incredible and it was so good catching up with the lovely team there, they truly treat us like family. FUSILLI CONTADINA (£14.00) Pasta twists with chargrilled peppers, onions, mushrooms & fresh tomatoes, finished with cream & basil. I decided to step out of my comfort zone tonight! I usually play it safe with my go-to pizza or a rich carbonara, but I wanted to try something fresh off the menu. The moment it hit the table, the aroma had me sold. It looked so stunning I barely had the patience to snap a quick photo before diving in! That first bite was absolute heaven, perfectly al dente pasta packed with incredible depth. The sweetness of the chargrilled peppers and fresh tomatoes paired ridiculously well with the earthy mushrooms and that silky, basil-infused cream sauce. 10/10, would definitely order this again! Stepping out of my comfort zone paid off, the Tawa Stepping out of my comfort zone paid off, the Tawa Keema at @dawat_grillkarahi (recommended by the staff!) was incredible. Rich, intensely seasoned mince topped with fresh coriander and ginger for the perfect kick. The portion size is massive, I thought one naan wouldn’t be enough, but I hit a food coma wall halfway through! Paired with a warm, freshly baked naan, every bite hit the spot. Even with a bit too much coriander for my personal taste, it was far too delicious to leave behind, so the rest definitely came home with me. #invite! The Fish Pakora at @dawat_grillkarahi is an absolute 10/10. The portion size was super generous, honestly a meal on its own, even with my mains still to come!
