Anytime I have been on a day trip to Edinburgh, I always have gone back here mostly as its close to the bus station and I couldn’t be bothered trying to find somewhere else.
Many shops and places in Edinburgh have either products from here, or advertise here and a lot of people talk about it in a good or mixed way.
I must have been here about 5 to 7 times, it does have that Italian cafe feel and has a lot of products that you can buy in store.
Any time I have been in the staff have been helpful but not over friendly, which for me I would have liked them to be as any Italian cafe’s I have been in they have been a little more chatty etc but thats just me….you may be like me or not.
Today I ordered the :
Bruschetta Verdure £6.75
Mixed vegetables and cheese on grilled bread
And also a Cappuccino
Overall my experience is always the same when I am here, its good but the cafe part is lacking in a little atmosphere for me.
The food and cakes are always very nice and very fresh.
I don’t know what the restaurant upstairs is like, as Ive still to try that out on one of my visits.
