I recently saw a few people on my Instagram check here out, then a customer told me they had gone and had a few takeaways from here and loved it.

So I had to check them out and see what I thought.

This is just a takeaway and has a similar style to another burger place I have visited…oh and also Halal.

The Food

I had no idea what to order all I knew was I had too many beef burgers recently so it was time to have a chicken one….and I had to have a wee side.

Chilli Cheese Nuggets £3.70

This was a random option but I couldn’t just order one item so this caught my eye.

Taking them out of the packet you get a good amount, now it was time to taste.

It was cooked very well, with a nice crispness to the outer part then the cheese flavour followed by a little kick.

I enjoyed these and would have them again.

Fried chicken breast, 2x turkey rashers, cheese, lettuce, green onions, garlic and smoked BBQ sauce.

Tonight I only wanted to try the burger, rather than get the meal deal and I wanted to check out their chicken burgers.

I had a quick look at the menu and decided on this one.

Visually this looked very nice, and its description also sounded good so it was time to take a bite and see what all the fuss was about.

I took a bite….the chicken was tender and cooked nicely, and then I got the rashers and cheese flavour followed by the BBQ sauce. This was very nice and had a good flavour, and I enjoyed it from start to finish.

I will be getting a beef burger which I heard is amazing here next visit.

Overall my first visit here was good, and the chicken burger was nice.

I wouldn’t say it was the best I’ve had but it was still very very nice, and not far off so I am now really interested in trying their beef burgers.

I had spotted this had opened recently and wanted to try it out, but I noticed it didn’t appear on JustEat or FoodHub.

I then spotted one day they had their own website, so I took note and ordered my dinner to check them out.

The Food

I have heard good things from here so I decided to test their munchie box.

Small Munchie Box £8.50

I like a good munchie box every now and then, and I have always loved the munchie box from here’s nearby competition.

So how was it here?

The box it comes in is lovely and adds a really nice touch, where most other places just use a pizza box.

Opening up the box it smelled really good, though it wasn’t the same as the others.

I saw chicken on skewers, ribs, chicken balls and chips…but the chips didn’t look like some I have recently had they looked a finer coating but how did these all taste…well one way to find out.

Before I start eating, I wanted to tell you that I am quite strict in terms of fat, carbs, proteins etc. I always find tdee and check how many calories the meal will have. Now, let’s focus on food!

So it did have that nice salt and chilli flavour but a really nice subtle one, which I really liked. Yeah I did miss that little kick but it was very nice.

Who does it better here or their competition? hmm to be honest I like both as both are very different to each other so I guess it would depend on the style I was after that night and just order from that one.

Deep Fried Mars Bar £3.10

I spotted this on the menu and had to try it, as I have had a few in the past and really liked them.

Opening the container this looked nice, even if one was squashed due to sitting on the chocolate sauce.

I took a bite and mmmm I loved it!

If your put off by how it sounds, think of a warm chocolate fudge cake with a slight crispness t it and that’s really this.

Todays Order

I have wanted to try here since it opened, but when I looked in it was always busy.

I spotted that it was on JustEat so I decided to do a wee takeaway

The Food

Marinara £8.50
Tomato sugo, anchovies, capers, garlic, olives

I didn’t know what to order but I thought lets start with either a pizza or pasta.

I decided to go for a pizza tonight, and this one jumped out at me so I had to order it.

I opened the box and oh this looked and smelled very nice.

Now it was time to dig in and take a slice.

The first thing I got was the fish taste followed by the olives then the tomato sugo…this really worked very well.

The pizza base was nice, though I did find the crust a bit too doughy…this could be due to delivery time? but that was the only small issue.

I would order this again as I really liked all the flavours.

Skinny fries, Parmesan cheese, truffle oil

I wanted to try something small along side with the pizza, and chips came to my mind.

I opted for this as it sounded very nice.

I opened the box and the small was nice, and the texture of the chips was good but….where was the parmesan cheese?

I have had these at other places before, and also made them at home but I tasted no Parmesan cheese…I think they forgot to add which was ok as mistakes happen but most of the flavour was lost due to this.

As I said on their own they were nice, and tasty but the parmesan cheese would have made it much nicer.

Takeaway Overall

Overall todays order was good, I did like the pizza and the chips the only down part was the lack of cheese but as I said the chips were nice the way they arrived but that would have beer with cheese.

I will order again at some point soon and maybe even pop in for dinner so keep watching my blog.
