I heard about this place opening ages ago, but then it went out of my mind completely.

Recently one of my friends brought one of Barfi’s boxes for me to try with them so I couldn’t wait as I love Indian sweets….well I love sweets period I have a sweet tooth 🙂

About

This shop has recently opened and from what I have heard is mega popular, and I can see and taste why but I will get to that.

They do many different types of Indian sweets but today I was trying Barfi.

For those of you who don’t know what this is, it is very similar to toffee but not as chewy and softer.

The Barfi…

This was today’s box…and when I say today I mean I will be getting more to try 🙂

  • Millionaires
  • New York Cheesecake
  • Oreo
  • Vimto
  • Banoffee
  • Celebration Cake

Yup, there was one missing but this was eaten before I took the photo.

So let’s do a wee breakdown on flavours :

Millionaires

Firstly the smell was ok and close to what it was trying to be, the taste hmm not that close which is a shame as it could have been really good.

New York Cheesecake

Firstly the smell was spot on, and the flavour was very close so I was impressed with this one.

Oreo

The smell was just ok, and the taste again so so…this was not that good which is a shame as most things that have Oreos are really good.

Vimto

This had a strong smell, and unless you’re a Vimto fan you won’t like the taste but if you are then this one is for you.

Banoffee

The smell of this was very good, and the taste was the best out of the whole box. This one was my fav!

Celebration Cake

The smell was very close to a Birthday cake, and the taste was ok you could just taste the cake favour as it was very subtle.

Overall

Overall I really liked trying the different flavours, and there are still many more to try.

My favourites were the Banoffee and the New York Cheesecake.

If you have never tried Barfi then take a visit to this place and order a box to sample how it tastes but I do recommend you try the original then these flavours.

I have passed here many times and looked at the window and thought mmmm on display is some displays of what desserts you can have and they all look so good.

I started to check out Bing Soul on Instagram, and what I saw I knew I had to 100% visit as it looked amazing!!!

So I finally did….

On entering we were seated, I opted for the window seat so I could enjoy the outside view of people watching.

It was amazing, packed with waffle, ice cream, cream, oreo bits soooo good perfect for my sweet tooth.

Word of warning after eating this you will be very full for the rest of the day.
