Swadish 5 Course Heat and Eat meal for 2 (Glasgow, Merchant City) : Review

GIFTED

Swadish is back woohoo!!!

I have been keeping an eye on when Swadish were going to do a takeaway, and they are now doing a great one.⠀

They gifted me a 5-course Heat and Eat for 2 meal, and I couldn’t wait to dig in and start eating.⠀

With the takeaway you get instructions on how to heat each item, and for how long so that they taste great.

Nibbles

POPPADOMS

These poppadoms were lovely and crispy, and had a great flavour.

They worked extremely well with the dips and spiced onions.⠀

Crispy Battered Kale

Wow now this was my first time trying Kale, and I think I am in love.

This was so nice and super moreish.⠀

I cant wait to get this again.

Spiced Onions

You can’t go wrong with spiced onions, these were mega YUM!!!!!⠀

Starters

Tomato Shorba (Soup)

I am not a soup fan, but wow this was very tasty, really nice flavours….and if you normally don’t like tomato soup you would love this.⠀

Chicken Chat (Wings)

The chicken meat was very tender, and had a nice flavour….finger licking good as they say.

Onion & Potato Bhaji

I am becoming a big fan of Onion Bahji and mmmm these were so so so so good!!!!!!!!

Main Course

As you have seen from above the starters were supper mouth wattering

I couldn’t wait to dig in to the mains, as they all looked and smelled amazing.

Chicken Tikka Masala

The chicken was very tender, and melted in my mouth.

The sauce was nice and creamy and had an amazing flavour.

Lamb Karahi

I am not a massive Lamb fan, its something I have to be in the mood for but I opted for this dish to see what it was like.

I am now converted, the lamb was tender, and again another amazing flavour.

Delhis Chaana Masala

This had a nice little kick to it, but the sauce was very creamy, and overall again another really nice tasty dish.

Pilau Rice

The rice was nice fluffy and is the perfect accompaniment for an Indian main.

Plain Naan

Fluffy and very nice, naans are ideal served as a side dish to your favourite curry.

Desert :

Yup and theres more…

Gulab Jamun

This is a big fav of mine, as its something I ALWAYS order and mmmm so good.

I could have easily had many many more of these 🙂

Overall :

Note : Just because this was gifted, that has not influenced my thoughts in any way. The above is a 100% honest review of the Heat and Eat from Swadish.

Firstly a big thanks to Swadish for making my Saturday evening special.

The food tonight was amazing, and that is really the only way to describe the food.

Everything was cooked to perfection, had amazing flavours and mega moreish.

I have been to Swadish a few times, and plan on visiting again when I can. I can honestly say the food, service etc was perfect.

If you want to taste how good Swadish food is then follow them on Instagram, Facebook etc and send them a message. The Heat and Eat platters are going fast, so you need to get your order in or you will need to wait till next weeks.
