The Chocolicious Sweet Treat Delivery : Review

The guys over at The Chocolicious asked if I would like to try some of their sweet treats, and I said yes please 🙂 and we set a date for delivery….they must have heard I have a sweet tooth.

The Delivery

Wow this bag was packed full…time to unpack and see what they sent me 🙂

The Goodies

Wow they really spoiled me!

Everything they sent looked really good, and I couldn’t wait to dig in and taste…..I guess the diet starts tomorrow.

I will show how they boxed it and then what it looks like out.

Kinder Surprise Waffle £6.50
Smothered with Nutella spread, topped with kinder bueno pieces, drizzled with white chocolate sauce and a scoop of kinder bueno ice cream

Firstly look at the pictures for this, it looked sooo good and my mouth was watering like crazy.

I cut a nice big slice and took a bite

WOW this was heaven! it was so so good! the textures, the flavours everything was amazing!!! I could easily have this again and again.

Its a solid 5/5 for me and highly recommended for you to order!!!!

Strawberry Cheesecake £5.50
All cake slices are topped with white chocolate flakes, drizzled with milk or white chocolate sauce and served with luxury vanilla ice cream

Just look at the presentation in the box! how nice is that!….I tried to take it out the box without the slice falling apart.

There was a good sized base, and a good smooth centre which was the perfect ratio in my opinion.

The cheesecake was so smooth, creamy and really light I could have easily had more and more.

The flavours and texture was just perfect

Churros with Nutella Sauce £6.00
Freshly baked churros dusted with icing sugar or cinnamon sugar, served with luxury vanilla ice cream and a dip of your choice.

For some reason I always associate Churros with Christmas markets, probably because most of the time when I get Churros its at these markets.

These were nice bite sized, and ready for your to grab and dip and eat.

They had a lovely chocolate centre and very very morish, these were finished very fast as they are very addictive

Nutty Oreo Shake
Oreo cookies, peanut butter, chocolate and toffee sauce ⠀

Who doesn’t love Oreo’s! they are sweet chocolate moreish everything that tickles my sweet tooth…..and an Oreo shake mmmmm I couldn’t wait to dig in.

Lets just say my spoon was never empty till I finished it, that’s how good this was. The Oreo flavour was very nice, and overall its exactly as you would want from an Oreo shake.

FoodHub order at Coco Melon Desserts (Tollcross, Glasgow) : Review

Gifted

The guys over at Foodhub.co.uk sent me a discount code to have a wee treat and check out their app again.

Foodhub unlike rivals, Just Eat & Uber Eats don’t take commission from your local takeaway which is on average around 15%, which means it’s a better deal for the takeaway and for us the consumers, as Foodhub is on average 15% cheaper than the rest!

Check out my previous FoodHub post HERE

Foodhub have recently conducted a survey and found that the majority of Brits have named the CHEESECAKE as their favourite cake, followed closely behind by the chocolate cake.

To celebrate National Cake Day, Foodhub is offering 20% off delicious desserts at designated dessert shops on the Foodhub app. To claim your 20% discount, head to the Foodhub app and use code: CAKE 2020 (valid on National Cake Day 26th November only – £5 maximum redemption).

So I had to order a cheesecake or two, and while I was at it a random choice of sweets as I needed a sweet tooth fix tonight.

The sweets

 Reece’s Belgian Waffle

I have only recently found out that I am not allergic to peanuts, and now have a wee addiction to anything Reece’s so when I saw this I had to order it.

On opening the packaging the smell was soo good, and visually mmm so much so my mouth started to water.

Regular Oreo Cookie Sundee

Another fav of mine are Oreo’s and when I saw they did this, I had to place an order and see what it was like.

I dug right into this as soon as I took the photo, the crunchiness of the Oreo’s, the ice-cream, the sauces mmmmm a perfect combo.

Terry’s Orange Cookie Dough

Two of my favs coming together, Terrys orange and cookie dough surely this couldnt fail?

I could have had many many many more servings of this, as it was just so so good.

I will be getting this again soon!!

Churros with Chocolate Sauce

This always reminds me of going to a Christmas market, as this is something I tend to get as the smell always pulls me in.

These were just as you would expect, slightly crunchy, sugary, soft centre and very mmm

Regular Bounty Milkshake

I saw this and thought why not, lets see what its like.

I love bounty bars, so I thought this should be just like them?

I was a little disappointed as it didn’t have a great Bounty flavour, just a subtle one but it was still nice.

Chocolate Fudge Cake

I have not had chocolate fudge cake in ages, I dont know why as there was a period where this is all I would get.

This nice and warm with cream was so good, and I remembered why I loved getting this so much.

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Strawberry Cheesecake

I had to order a cheesecake so I did and this is what I got.

You cant go wrong with a strawberry cheesecake, thats all I can say as its just so nice 🙂
