On my recent visit to Romania, I wanted to target some restaurants and some other little places to eat and drink.
One of the places I was recommended to visit was a little coffee shop called Origo. I am a big fan of coffee, and when this was recommended to me I added it to my list.
I was told that its a small coffee shop, very very popular so if you take a visit and you cant sit down do wait as you will enjoy it.
On arrival the description was correct, it is a small coffee shop and it was very popular. I managed to get one of the outside tables that was left, so I had a nice view and I was able to enjoy todays nice weather.
Origo does speciality coffee, purchased from farmers that monitor the beans at all the stages of its growing.
The coffee I ordered was a fruity one, and it came out nicely presented. I can’t remember the exact type of coffee bean, maybe an Ethiopian beach…..if I remember I will update this post.
Overall it was a nice visit, that I enjoyed sitting outside relaxing and having a coffee. Would I say it was the best coffee I have ever had? to be honest it was ok, nothing fantastic but I would like to visit again and maybe sit inside to see how the atmosphere in the actual shop is like.
