Hugo’s (Moffat, Scotland) 2022 : Review

The Visit

On the 8th of April it was my birthday and I got some money, and I also needed some shirts so I decided to take a drive to Gretna Outlet and on my way back stop at Moffat for dinner.

The Dinner

I saw they did a tapas menu and thought yeah this sounded good and chose two items.

Stornoway Black Pudding Tattie Bravas £7.50

This sounded nice from the menu, so I had to order it.

On arrival this visually looked good, looked a good sized portion for a tapas and smelled really good.

I tried the black pudding and mm, perfectly cooked and Stornoway Black Pudding is always a win!

The tattie bravas was soo good! the flavour was amazing and both combined to to good!

I loved this and would have this again!

Roasted Butternut Squash Biryani Coconut Yogurt £6.00

I had been talking about Biryani’s recently and when I saw this had to get it and try this version.

On arrival this looked very nice, though I wasn’t sure about the crispy onions…but I would wait and see how it tasted.

This smelled so so good! I was very surprised and yes it tasted so good!

This was a really really tasty dish! I loved every mouthful and the flavours were so good!

Highly recommended if you visit!
