Garlic Butter Soya Fried Rice : Recipe

This is great for any left over rice, or you can do what I did just make some fresh and follow the instructions.

  • First chop yo the garlic cloves into think slices
  • On a medium heat add 2 tbsp of butter or if you used a block a nice slice of butter
  • Once the butter starts to bubble a little add your chopped garlic
  • Mix well and coat the garlic slices in butter till you get a lovely smell and the garlic is a golden colour
  • Now add your rice and mix again
  • Add 1 more tbsp of butter and 2 tbsp soya sauce
  • Mix everything in
  • Once it looks ready put it all in to your bowl
  • For extra flavour feel free to add one more 1/2 tbsp butter and 1/2 tbsp soya once its platted up

As most my readers know my favourite Indian restaurant in Glasgow, is Charcoals and I have been here many times and even filmed inside.

Tonight I was treating my dad to dinner, and I decided to take him here. My dad is a big fan of Indian food, and he has never been here so it was time to introduce Charcoals to him.

The Food…

Onion Baji (GF) £3.25
Finally Spiced onions mixed with spicy gram flour, spices and deep fried

I have had these a long time ago, plus I knew you got two so I thought I would share a starter with my dad.

These were perfect, flavour, texture and just YUM!!! I could have easily had more of this but I didn’t as I had the main course coming.

My dad said these were the best he has had.

I have had this before, and it was thanks to Charcoals that this is now one of my favs to order.

This was really nice, flavours, and the chicken was very very tender it was a perfect mouthful each time.
