Another year, another new place for me…I love coming across new places to eat.

Fpizza were lovely and sent me an invite to come along and try them out, and I accepted and added to my calendar.

Fpizza is newly opened and in the town centre of Milngavie, and is about a 7 min walk from Milngavie train station so it’s very easy to find.

Looking Around

On entering I was welcomed and shown to my seat.

Looking around Fpizza it had a very nice and relaxing decor, and it was a busy night and the atmosphere was good.

Where I was seated I had a great view of the whole place, and looking around everyone was enjoying themselves and the food….now it was time to eat!

The Food…

I decided I wanted to have one pizza and one side and that’s all….well unless I had room left for some ice cream.

The pizza I went for was Number 7 normally £9.5 but free tonight thanks to Fpizza.

Tomato, mozzarella, rocket, prosciutto, parmesan shavings and evoo

Sorry for the more red tones through the photos, where I was sitting there was a red light behind me.

I also added Tuscan Sausage to this order….normally extra toppings are £2.

As soon as the plate touched the table, I was ready to dig in!!

The first thing I noticed was how good the flavours were than how good the base was….it was thin and really good. Everything about this pizza worked!!!

I was very full by the time I finished this, but I wasn’t that over full way I normally am when it comes to eating pizza… I was a comfortable full if you get me.

Side

Polenta Chips (Rosemary & Parmesan) £6 (N/a tonight)

I decided to have a side mostly due to curiosity, and normally I go for fries as my side so I decided to try this.

Firstly this was a good sized portion, 2 or even 3 sticks would have been perfect and still good value for money.

If you are thinking of normal fries then you will be very surprised by Polenta fries, as they are very different and taste very different. These were very nice, had a nice crunch and flavour.

For me, I think I will stick with normal fries, but this is a personal preference but please do try them they are really nice.

Overall

Firstly I would like to say a big thanks to Fpizza for my invite, I had a really nice time and it’s always great to find new places 🙂 ones that I will definitely be going back to.

For me, I really enjoyed the pizza, and left feeling a good full rather than the difficult to digest full I sometimes get when eating pizzas. I think this is mostly due to the the base, as it was very nice and thin.

Fpizza is now in my top 4 pizza places, and on my Top Spots page.

As I said at the start Fpizza is easy to get to from Glasgow, a train then a very short walk and I promise its worth it.

See you soon 🙂
