Patisserie Valerie (Silverburn Shopping Centre) 2021 : Review

The Visit

Today I was taking my gran for a wee bit of Christmas shopping at Silverburn, and we stopped here to get a wee lunch.

The Lunch

I saw they had a seasonal menu and I thought lets get something from that today.

Christmas Club Sandwich £10.25
Grilled turkey, back bacon, plum tomatoes, gourmet salad , mayonnaise, butter, cranberry & mulled spice sauce served in a toasted bloomer with baked fries & served with a side salad.

On arrival this looked and smelled really good, so after a few photos I dug in.

I started with the chips…

These were very nice, not very crispy, a little soft but very nice flavour to them.

Now the sandwich..

Oh this was very nice, I really liked the combination of the flavours.

For me it could have done with more sauce as it was a very dry sandwich, apart from that it was really nice and packed with flavour.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Mince Pie £2.95

I couldn’t leave before having a wee treat and I spotted they sold mince pies….so I had to get one.

This arrived and looked nice and also had a nice smell, oh and it was warm so when I took a bite it was very yummy!

This was very nice and packed with flavour, and that warmth made it very mmmm

My Rating:

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Overall :

Overall it was a nice lunch with my gran, and we both had a nice relaxing time and a nice lunch.

As I said my only issue for me was that the sandwich was a bit dry, a bit more sauce and it would have been perfect.

My Rating :

Rating: 4 out of 5.
