NY American Grill (Princes Square, Glasgow) 2022 : Review

The Visit

It’s been a while since my last visit here, so today I thought let’s pop back and try a burger…well a chicken burger.

Normally I would have a starter and possibly a dessert but I was heading out later for dinner and didn’t want to fill myself up too much.

The Food

Southern Fried Chicken Burger £12.50
Fried buttermilk chicken breast

All burgers are served on a sweet brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, home recipe burger sauce and chips. Gluten-free buns available

The waitress at the time of order asked if I would like cheese and bacon on it, I said yeah but didn’t take note of the extra charge for these.

On arrival, I was shocked at how big this was as it was a double chicken burger, but I didn’t mind.

Due to the size and also the brioche bun, I had to use a knife and fork to eat this.

The chicken was very tender and had a nice flavour, I am glad I got the bacon and cheese as that added to the flavour and was perfect for me.

The chips were very nice and didn’t need any salt.

My Rating:

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Visit Overall

Just like always it’s a lovely atmosphere in Princess Square and also in NY.

The service and food was just as good as I remember, but next time I will try more dishes and a dessert.

The Visit

Its been a while since I have been here, I used to visit here on a regular basis with friends and we always had a good experience.

Today I was going to see the latest Marvel movie, and thought lets visit and get a burger.

The food

As I said at the start of this blog, I felt like a big burger today and wanted to try something I have not had before from here.

The Big Cheese Burger £12.95
NY Classic topped with a double helping of cheese

On arrival this looked really good, and I was MEGA hungry so I couldn’t wait to take a massive bite.

I took a massive bite and mmm this was really good. The burger was perfectly cooked and nice and moist, and the flavours of the whole bite was so good and I finished it very easily and fast.

Normally with a big burger you would feel full and bloated, but this was perfectly cooked and fresh ingredients I felt full but not bloated etc

My Rating:

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Dessert Time…

Yes there is always room for dessert, and today I had to go for something I had from here ages ago.

Key Lime Pie £5.95
Ginger crumb base with a sweet lime cream filling and vanilla ice cream.

I remembered I loved this last time, so I wanted to see if I still would this time round.

After a quick snap, I dug right in as it looked so so good.

AMAZING!! it was very sweet, lovely lime flavour, nice ginger base everything worked together and every bite was mmmm

If you have a sweet tooth like me you need to check this out.

It was nice being back, and just like my previous visits everything was great. The staff here are lovely, the atmosphere was great and the food was perfect.

I am going to be adding here to my top spots page, as I didn’t have that page when I visited a while ago.
