Whoops Desserts (Motherwell): Review

The guys at Whoops Motherwell invited me to come along for a collection of some of their mouthwatering goodies.

To be honest I had never heard of them, and for me its always great to find new places I LOVE that 🙂 as its always good to try somewhere new.

The Collection

I took a wee drive to Whoops to pick up my goodies and had a wee look inside, obviously due to current situations you couldn’t sit in but I did really like the look and feel from what I could see.

The Goodies

The guys gifted me 2 milkshakes of my choice and 2 desserts of my choice, so I had a wee look at their menu and decided what caught my eye.

To be honest, most of their menu sounded really good, so this was a hard decision.

The Perfect Pair Cookie Dough £6.95
The perfect balance of gooey caramel and delicious chocolate, chunks of Cadbury and Galaxy caramel covered in caramel sauce and melted milk chocolate.

Cookie Dough is my weakness, I love it so so much so I was really looking forward to trying this.

Just look at the description and look at how good this look…mmm I took a quick snap and dug right in.

mmm wow super sweet, soft, gooey and for me extremely moreish! I could have easily had another one of these thats how good it was.

A solid 5/5 for me

Terrys Chocolate Orange Milkshake £3.95

I love a Terrys Chocolate Orange, so when I saw this milkshake I HAD to try it.

WOW this milkshake was packed with flavour, it tasted just like a Terrys chocolate orange.

From the first sip to the last sip I really enjoyed this, and this is now one of my favourite milkshakes

Chocolate Fantasy Waffle £6.95
Indulge in the ultimate guilty pleasure with a blend of fresh strawberries, Ferrero rocher, and kinder Bueno topped with Nutella, melted milk chocolate, chocolate sauce, and a sprinkle of dark blossoms.

Again how good does this sound….

When I opened the box it was an instant “wow” and “mmmm that looks good”

Visually this was mega eye candy, but did it taste as good as it looked? well someone had to find out….and that someone was me.

Chocolatey, crunchy, gooey and irritably moreish. It had the perfect combination of textures and flavours this one another one I could easily have again.

Cadbury Caramel Milkshake £3.95

I always have a sweet spot for caramel, so again when I saw they did a caramel milkshake I had to give it a shot.

This was another WOW, these guys do amazing flavour packed milkshakes.

This had a great balanced and lovely caramel flavour to it, not overpowering just perfect.

Next time I am near I will definitely be trying another one or two milkshakes.

Pepe’s Piri Piri (Motherwell, Glasgow): Review

I was lucky enough to be gifted a Family Platter from Pepe’s Piri Piri (Motherwell), this would be my first time trying anything from a Pepe’s.

I was told they were really good from friend, so I was really looking forward to tonights dinner.

The Collection

I set a time for collection, and headed on my way.

Wow this bag was packed full…time to unpack and see what they gave me.

Family Platter

  • 1 Whole chicken
  • 1 Spicy rice
  • 2 Large fries
  • 4 Wings
  • 4 Dips

They made the spice level mild for me which is good as I am not good with mega spicy dishes.

I will do a review of each item, then give you an overall review at the end of this post.

The Whole Chicken

When I opened the chicken from the wrapping the smell hit me and mmmm so so good, and my mouth started to water a lot.

Time to dig in.

The flavour of this chicken was amazing, and it was cooked to perfection as it was mega tender.

I shared tonights meal with my parents, and we all agreed this was really good!!

Another one when I opened the packaging, the amazing smell hit me mmm

Just like the whole chicken, these wings had the perfect flavour and were very tender and super addictive I could have easily had more and more of these.

Skinny fries are my go-to chip, for me they are the best style of fries.

These were perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked I loved everything and just like everything tonight extremely moreish.
