Jay’s Grill Bar苏格兰调情自助餐 (West End, Glasgow) 2021 : Review

The Visit

When I stayed in the West End I wanted to visit here, as it was basically on my door step.

Finally today I visited with friends, and it was all our first time here.

The Buffet Grill

This sounded very cool, and I was very excited to see how it all worked.

I was told the best thing to do is pick 5 to 8 dishes as they are brought out for enough to suit the table amount.

On arrival of all the dishes filled the table, and I now understand why he said only 5 to 8 dishes as they are BIG portions. If you do visit please do this, as you can always order more!

We waited till the broth was warm and started cooking. We opted for one half spice the other half lamb broth.

For me I don’t use chopsticks so this was hard for me to grab anything, but at the end of the lunch I spotted a ladle that would have been useful at the start for me….I will learn as it would be much easier for my next visit.

Food wise it really depends what you order and how you cook it, what I can say is everything I had tasted really good and very fresh. Just make sure you do cook for the correct time, if your unsure just ask someone as the staff are all very helpful and very friendly.

If your not a broth person, you can just have meats as its really down to you what you get. We wanted to do a bit of both, to try a lot of different things.

My Rating:

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Overall :

This was such a cool experience after we all figured out what to do and how long to let things cool.

Everything was very tasty, and for me the clear winner was the Korean black pepper steak was the best!!! so good and I can’t wait to get more of this….and the funny part is I am not a steak person yet I would have this again and again.

If its your first time here just ask a member of staff to explain how the menu works, and then order what you like and enjoy.

Check them out.
