I recently swung by Food Asia Hypermarket (@fooda I recently swung by Food Asia Hypermarket (@foodasiascotland) in Glasgow and picked up these Minute Khana Onion Bhajis. Let’s just say, they did not disappoint!

Whether you’re looking for a stress-free starter for curry night or just a quick savory snack, these are a total game-changer.

They cook up in no time, making them perfect for when the cravings hit. These are seriously tasty. The texture and seasoning are spot on!

The box says "mild," and they definitely mean it. I didn’t get much of a kick at all, so they’re perfect if you prefer flavour over fire, though spice lovers might want a side of spicy chutney!

Next time you’re at Asia Food Hypermarket, definitely grab a box (or three).

Picked this up on my latest visit to Food Asia Hy Picked this up on my latest visit to Food Asia Hypermarket @foodasiascotland in Glasgow. I was looking for something easy and light for a post-work dinner, and this hit the spot!

Perfect quick fix for lunch or a tired evening. Heat and eat, couldn't be simpler.

A satisfying blend of spices and soft chickpeas. The choley flavour was distinct and delicious and I wish I grabbed a few more of these.

It's labelled 'medium', which was to be honest I didnt get any kick from this.

Overall, it's a solid, flavourful choice for when you need a light meal on short notice.

Definitely worth keeping one in the freezer! Bonus points for being 100% vegan and something I would 100% pickup again.

You can’t have a proper burger without the perfect You can’t have a proper burger without the perfect side, and during my recent #invite to Lucky’s Diner (@luckysdiner) on Paisley Road West, I decided to level up my fries.

There are a few ways to order your fries here, but I went straight for the Peri Salted version.

I was genuinely impressed when they arrived alongside my Angus Smash, the portion size is generous and they looked fantastic.

Perfectly cooked with that essential golden crispness.

This is where most places fail, but Lucky’s nailed it. Often you only get flavour on the top layer, but these were seasoned consistently throughout.

Every single fry had that perfect balance of spice, enough to be "moreish" without overpowering the meal. If you’re visiting, don’t settle for plain; the Peri salt is the way to go!

If you’re passing through Food Asia Hypermart in G If you’re passing through Food Asia Hypermart in Glasgow, do yourself a favor and stop at the Food 2 Go counter. Their pakora is officially setting the bar for Glasgow takeaways.

Chicken Pakora
The chicken was exceptionally tender (rare for pakora!) with a deep, savory flavor that isn't hidden by the batter. Honestly, one of the best I’ve had in a long time.

Vegetable Pakora
This one is for the spice lovers. It has a perfect little kick that makes the flavors pop, with that classic crunch on the outside and a soft, flavorful center.

Whether you're a meat lover or a veggie fan, these are a total must-grab. Highly recommended! @foodasiascotland

🍔 A Smashed Hit at Lucky's Diner! I was recently 🍔 A Smashed Hit at Lucky's Diner!

I was recently #invited to Lucky’s Diner on Paisley Road West, and after a quick scroll through their menu, my mind was already made up. I knew exactly what I was heading in for!

While I’m usually a chicken burger devotee, something about the Double Smashed Angus Beef called my name. It’s been a while since I’ve had a proper beef burger, and this was the perfect way to break that streak.

I went for the full meal deal (fries + drink). The aroma hit me the second it landed on the table, that signature seared scent you only get from a fresh flat-griddle smash.

Two 3oz Prime Angus patties, perfectly seasoned and incredibly juicy.

It’s loaded with melted cheese, caramelized onions, gherkins, lettuce, and that Lucky’s sauce which brings a subtle, mouth-watering kick of spice.

Every bite confirmed I made the right choice. If you’re a fan of a thin, crispy-edged patty with a soft, toasted bun, you need to get this on your radar. Whether you’re sitting in to soak up the diner vibes or grabbing a takeaway, it’s a must-try.

You didn’t really think I could visit @gloagburn w You didn’t really think I could visit @gloagburn without trying dessert, did you? 😉🍰

With my "mega" sweet tooth, I couldn’t resist ordering the Chocolate Mousse Cake. It arrived looking absolutely beautiful, but let’s be honest, that didn’t last long! I couldn’t wait to dive in.

The team warmed it up slightly, making it extra decadent. It was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet, and that extra drizzle of chocolate sauce was the perfect finishing touch. I enjoyed every single bite from start to finish!

If you’re visiting @gloagburn, definitely save room for a treat.

If you’re wandering through the aisles of Asia Foo If you’re wandering through the aisles of Asia Food Hypermart in Glasgow and the aroma from the Food 2 Go section starts calling your name, listen to it!

I recently picked up their Chicken Biryani, and it was an absolute standout. From the first forkful to the last grain of rice, it was delicious from start to finish. The spice blend was punchy and perfectly balanced, coating every grain of long-grain basmati.

The highlight? The meat was incredibly tender. It practically falls apart, soaking up all those deep, aromatic flavours.

If you want that genuine, home-cooked feel in a quick takeaway format, this is a must-grab. Great job @foodasiascotland!

* Peri Salt Fries – The ultimate kick of flavour.
* Aero Milk Chocolate Shake – Smooth, and pure nostalgia.

Back at one of my absolute favorite spots today @g Back at one of my absolute favorite spots today @gloagburn Farm Shop! 🌾✨

Whether it’s for a quick bit of shopping or a long lunch, this place never misses. Today was all about catching up with friends, a little retail therapy, and diving into their daily specials.

I decided to skip the main menu and try the Hot Smoked Salmon & Denhead Asparagus Tart (£14.95), served with red pepper mayo and homemade oatcakes. 🐟🥧

The verdict? Absolutely incredible. The tart was perfectly cooked and the salmon flavour was so fresh. But the real game-changer? That red pepper mayo! It added the perfect kick without overpowering the salmon. And don’t even get me started on the oatcakes… they literally melted in my mouth. Easily some of the best I’ve ever had! 🤤

A perfect lunch from start to finish.

Full blog review coming soon! Stay tuned for all the details.
