The Goodies

I couldnt attend and not get a few wee things….so today I spent and got some nice little treats.

This was the first stall I stopped at today at Ginfall, I have never heard of this brand so I was excited to be introduced to it.

I noticed this was not Gin, but after chatting to the guy today these sounded very good and I had to have a wee sample.

The one I tried was the Strawberry Snowball, and it was lovely. It was a great flavour with a coconut after taste…..so I got a mixed case.

I then tried these when I got home and have to say I really loved the flavours of each of these.

The Strawberry Snowball is still my fav and cant wait to order a few more soon.

Guys check them out!!

This was the second stall I stopped at at Ginfall 2021

Another new brand for me so I was excited to try a wee taste. There were two to taste and buy today, but I was watching my pennies so I could get a few things today to support a few stalls so I opted for this one.

Flavour wise it reminded me of a port which was good as I have started to really enjoy ports, also fruits with hints chocolate for me.

Since this was more like a port thats why I opted for this one, but I look forward to trying more from this brand as its very very good!!

Another new brand for me, and I had to try a wee sample.

I took a taste of the sample and WOW this was interesting, I started to get a pepper taste but a nice subtle one followed by a slightly chilli flavour ohhh this was interesting.

I really liked this pepper taste to this gin, as it was very pleasant and unusual and so easy to drink.

I only got a wee bottle today, but next time I see this gin I will be buying the bigger bottle.

Check them out!!!

Ellis Gin – Scottish Bramble and Lemon

This was another new brand for me, and one that caught my eye due to the stall display so I had to pop over and check them out.

I started with the Bramble Gin

About : “Gorgeous Floral Gin with a little Spice – it is a beautiful red colour. Serve with Tonic or Ginger Ale and a slice of Orange

This was very pleasant and had a nice flavour, and very easy to drink. I tried the bramble gin with a tonic, and it was very cool to see the colour change to orange…definitely a fun topic of conversation at a party.

I could easily see myself getting this one again.

Next was the Lemon gin

About “This lovely Citrus gin is so refreshing and naturally coloured and flavoured using the Peel or luscious lemons”

Ohhhh…I didnt try this at this event so this was a complete surprise for me.

I took a sip and thought WOW this was very nice, and it reminded me of a smoother Lemoncello but Gin. I wish I got a big bottle of this as it was mega mega tasty!!!!

The lemon one was my fav and I will be getting the bigger bottle soon.

Valentia Premium Mediterranean Gin

About : Premium Valentia Gin begin life in the Sierra Nevada mountains in Granada (Spain) where the water is known for its exceptional purity and high quality. Double distilled in small batches from sugar cane in a traditional cooper pot still, adding botanicals and a final touch of Valencian citrus for a lovely sherbetty finish.

Made in Valencia, Spain.

I came across this gin at the first Ginfall, and said to the guy I would get some next time round.

I did actually buy some before that, and todays event I purchased another bottle.

This is a lovely gin, that has a nice subtle lemon flavour to it and so tasty to sip and enjoy snuggled up on the couch.

This has lovely fresh lemon notes, and just as nice and subtle to taste.

I highly recommend you order this as its a lovely drink to have alone or with some friends and I am sure you will agree its a great gin to add to your collection.

Overall :

This is such a good event to visit, for Gin lovers and people who would love to learn about Gin as you get to try many little samples.

The event is one that I will be attending next time, and if your interested do check them out and maybe I will see you there.

Cheers.
